David’s career in tennis started in Louisiana at the age of twelve as one of the youngest players ever to make it to the High School State Championship. His tennis moved north to Baltimore where he played at Calvert Hall High School and then on to UMBC. Playing #1 singles and doubles for four years while at UMBC and winning the East Coast Conference Doubles Championship were some of the many highlights during his early tennis career.
“Lightning” Krulevitz is a homegrown professional athlete. He competed on the International Professional Tennis Tour for 11 years. At 15 years of age, Steve became one of the youngest Marylanders ever to win the Men’s State Title. Steve is a 4-time MIAA Champion at Park School. Steve was a varsity player in lacrosse, basketball, and soccer.
Justin Behm has been on the Orchard Pro Staff since 1995. He has also been the Head Professional at the Towson Golf & Country Club since 1996 and was an assistant professional at the L’Hirondelle Club in Ruxton from 1987-1995. Justin has over 25 years of tennis teaching experience and became a certified level 1 pro by the U.S. Pro Tennis Association in 1992.
Mike Clark has competed professionally in the United States, Europe, and South America. He has numerous Maryland State and Mid-Atlantic titles as both a junior and as an adult. At the age of 40, he was ranked #1 in the Mid-Atlantic in both the Men’s 35s and 40s and won the Maryland State Mens Open Indoor Hard Court Championship.
